The Vario Grinder performs well and is versatile. It allows the user to dial in the grind setting from the more demanding espresso machine to a French press and everything in between. An additional "fine tuning” lever on the left side allows micro adjustments.

Features of the Baratza Vario Coffee Grinder:

• MAHLKÖNIG ceramic 54mm flat burrs. Ceramic stays sharper longer, has a 1.5 -2.0X longer life than steel burrs and keeps the coffee cool while grinding by limiting the amount of heat transferred from the burrs to the grinds.
• Electronic Dosing - The Vario grinds on demand, grinding only the amount of coffee you need. Dosing is adjustable to 0.1 seconds (.2 grams). Three user programmable grind time buttons.
• Grinds directly into portafilter or into ground coffee bin.
• "PortaHolder,” a Baratza exclusive. Universally adjustable brackets for any portafilter, allows for hands-free operation.
