Saeco Starbucks Barista & Via Venezia Pressurized Portafilter “New Style”

​This is Saeco’s newer-style Pressurized Portafilter which replaces all older versions of pressurized portafilters. It has a nice, softer, “rubbery” handle with a more ergonomic shape, and the general construction is stronger than previous versions. The handle is black, and the portafilter comes complete with a double basket.

Please note, there are multiple reasons why an existing pressurized portafilter is no longer brewing properly, including:

• portafilter malfunctioning
• blockages due to scale or coffee residues
• weak pump

As this is a non-returnable part under any circumstances (they are inspected and spring mechanism is tested prior to shipping), before replacing an existing portafilter that has quit brewing, we recommend reviewing this troubleshooting guide.
