This Filter Screen is located on the fitting/inlet side of the 2-way solenoid valve on most Elektra commercial machines, and it is designed to help keep foreign particles out.
This screen is installed on la Spaziale machines as well and others.
NOTE: With time, this screen can get clogged, and it will need to be periodically cleaned or replaced.
