This Heating Element is listed as suitable for Ascaso and Faema home units, but we cannot confirm which specific models.
It is also a suitable replacement for OLD style Rancilio Silvia Heating Elements. Note that there have been a few versions of Rancilio Silvia elements. Currently, they install a removeable stainless steel element (which this will not replace). Prior to that, they installed a copper element that was integrated (non-removable) with the brass boiler. Prior to that, they installed a copper element that was removable. This element can replace that oldest version, however, according to customer feedback, the coils posts need to be spread a little wider for gen1 units.
For the units that have the integrated element, we have heard from some customers that this element can potentially replace a burned out element. As we have never performed this retrofit, we cannot make any guarantees of success. You would need to drill out the old element carefully and precisely and not damage the boiler or enlarge the boiler holes in the process. If you do not have the proper tools or are unsure of your ability to perform this retrofit, then we recommend replacing the entire boiler with the upgraded version + kit where appropriate.
