The Italian supplier sends different versions of this softener almost every batch. Although they might not look the same as the image, they will work and fit the same purpose. Some are opaque, so you may receive transparent or opaque. The contents are the same. Note that it has no Barbed fitting (just rounded to attach the silicone hose). It will fit any hose up to 9x6mm even though it doesn’t have a “barbed” nipple.
Note: If you have an older silicone hose that has stretched with use, you may need to cut a few millimeters off the end of your old hose, install the softener with a zip-tie, or replace your silicone hose.
Used in many home unit machines.
Please note: A softener will slow down the buildup of minerals/scale, but it will not completely remove them, so you will still need to descale. The frequency depends on how often you use your machine and the minerals in your raw water. The frequency of cartridge replacement or resin regeneration will also affect your softener’s efficiency. Suggested usage 25 liters before replacement.
