La Pavoni Millennium Grouphead Sleeve Removal Bar

​Bar for Sleeve Removal

Nothing fancy here, but pretty handy if you don’t have a better option. Note that we now sell a locally made tool modeled after the Pavoni original.

This short section of square bar is cut to size to fit into the grooves on the bottom of the Millennium Grouphead Sleeve . Attaching one small crescent wrench to the bar and another wrench to the body of the first wrench makes it easier to remove the sleeve so you can install the new Grouphead Sleeve O-Ring (part of the MP-96 kit).

Note: The sleeve is made from a plastic material which can crack under pressure. If your sleeve is stuck in place with coffee or other residues, you may need to use a thread lubricant to remove it safely and/or purchase the larger tool linked above.
