La Pavoni Torx Tamper-Proof L-Key (for 1mm Security Peg)

On some La Pavoni Lever machines, a Torx driver is needed to remove the ABS base so you can access the electrical / boiler components.

In general, this driver fits older models where the screw is mounted underneath the drip tray and screws in downward. HOWEVER, we recently had a customer with a 2010 Millennium machine which had the newer-style base (where the screw screws in upward from under the base) who needed this smaller-sized driver. The best way to confirm which Torx driver you need is to measure the security peg in the center of the screw. This driver fits a 1mm security peg. For the 2mm see HERE.

If you cannot accurately measure the peg, then your surest bet might be to purchase both sizes.
