It has a 12mm thread and is 94mm long. (It is NOT as long as a commercial portafilter handle as those are normally in the 140mm range - see this section for a our selection of commercial handles.)

NOTE: some old portafilter handles (shorter style then the current ones) accommodate only 10mm bolt stock. Some even older models have a bolt reducer from 8mm to 10mm. If you have one of the older styles, here are three options:
