According to the Henkel website (manufacturer of Loctite), this product is NSF/ANSI 61 Certified. We reached out to Henkel directly, and their tech services representative responded with: I have confirmed that the Loctite 243 should be acceptable for your needs in that it carries a potable water certification (Keep in mind only the 250ml and 1L bottles carry this certification) and can withstand temperatures up to 360F.
