This Thermal Fuse prevents the pump from overheating and is found on many machines. When a pump runs continuously for more than 10 minutes or so, the pump coil could burn. This component should open the circuit and stop voltage from reaching the pump. Once the pump’s coil cools down, the fuse will close the circuit again and power will return to your pump.
